The rollout is already underway, with 15 districts actively using the system to:

• Shorten patient wait times significantly by digitizing scheduling and record-keeping

• Enhance prescription accuracy by reducing errors linked to manual record management

• Empower patients to book appointments and access services conveniently through a mobile app

Beyond day-to-day operations, e-Ubuzima will become a critical communications platform during health emergencies, ensuring that information flows rapidly and accurately when it is most needed.

As Muhammed Semakula, Head of Planning and Monitoring at the Ministry of Health, explains, e-Ubuzima is not just about efficiency — it’s about resilience.
